Our Attorneys
BRIAN TRIMNAL
Brian Trimnal and Van Myers established Trimnal & Myers Attorneys in order to provide personalized, high quality legal services to the Lancaster, SC and Indian Land, SC area. Both Brian and his wife were raised in the community and they continue to live in the area with their three children.
Brian obtained his undergraduate degree from The Citadel and his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law. He is a member of the Lancaster County and South Carolina Bar Associations. He also served as past Secretary/Treasurer for the Lancaster County Bar Association.
At Trimnal & Myers, Brian focuses his practice on residential and commercial real estate law. He is also a licensed title insurance agent with Investors Title Insurance Company and shares his knowledge of real estate law during seminars and conferences.

VAN MYERS
Meet Govan (Van) T. Myers, a partner and integral member of the legal community in and around Lancaster, Indian Land, and Fort Mill.
Van, his wife, and three children are residents of Indian Land, South Carolina and he was born and raised in Lancaster County.
Van achieved his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford College in 1998 and completed his legal education at St. Thomas School of Law in Miami, Florida in 2004. After graduating with honors, he returned to South Carolina to begin practicing law. He is a member of the Lancaster County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the South Carolina Bar Association. He is a past board member of the Lancaster County Community Foundation, the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce, and the Indian Land Rescue Squad. He currently serves on the board of directors of CareHealth and GoldenCare, Inc. in Lancaster. In addition, Van has worked as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina, Lancaster Campus where he taught Survey of Commercial Law.
Van’s area of specialty is divorce cases in the family court. Van also practices in estate planning and real estate law. Above all, Van is committed to ensuring his clients get the best representation possible during the most challenging legal situations.
